About us

Incorporated in Kenya in 2008, KATUNI emerged as a research focused consultancy, providing expert guidance to a wide range of institutions, including the UN Development Programme, UN Women, the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), The World Bank, and Adam Smith International.

As donors reduce aid budgets, the private sector's role in development is expanding—through inclusive business models, impact investing, and shared value partnerships.
